Please inform Villa Salamina in advance of your expected arrival time. You can contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification or passport upon check-in.
Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Children and extra beds
All children are welcome. Baby cot available at no charge.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Minimun age
There is a minimum age for renting unless approved in writing in advance. We cannot rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by two (2) or more adult guardians or parents.
No parties
This property will not accommodate parties. This property is located in a quiet residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise.
Additional costs
The cost of electricity, water, cleaning, garden supplies and local taxes are included in rental rates. There are no additional costs, surcharges, taxes, staff salaries or management fees above the price quoted
Damage or losses
Please treat the Property rented accordingly, and leave the Property and all its contents in good order and in an acceptably clean condition. Any damage or losses caused during the Rental Period, as well as any special cleaning requirements, will be charged at cost. In cases of excessive or unacceptable loss or damage at any time during the Rental Period, the Owner or Owner’s Representative may require the Guest and their party, including visitors to vacate the Property immediately, without compensation or refund.
Access
The Property and its facilities are available for the Guest’s full enjoyment during the Rental Period. However, the Owner, Owner’s Representative, or other staff and contractors may need access to the Property from time to time (e.g. for maintenance purposes to the house, garden, utilities, and services, or for the purposes of providing additional services requested by the Guest, etc.). The Guest is required to give them reasonable access to the Property for these purposes.
Number of guests
The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the Property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation unless specifically authorized in writing. Exceeding this number may invalidate any insurance policy on the Property. Entry or access to the Property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.
Use of property
All bookings are assumed to be for normal holiday purposes only, and the Guest agrees that the use of the Property will be limited to this purpose unless otherwise confirmed in writing. If the Guest is planning to hold an event, such as a wedding or party, which involves having a larger number of people at the Property, or if the Guest is planning to use the Property for a purpose other than holiday, please communicate this to the Villa Salamina at the time of booking, as special approval or arrangements may be required. Depending on the nature of the event, a surcharge and/or additional security deposit may be required, which will be agreed upon and confirmed in writing prior to confirming the reservation.
Subletting
You shall not sublet the property, or any part of the property, or assign your rights or obligations under this agreement.
Conduct and due care
Villa Salamina is located in a quiet residential area. The Guest is asked to respect this and ensure that all guests and visitors to the Property behave appropriately. Illegal or immoral activities including gambling, prostitution, prohibited drugs, possession or use of pyrotechnics or dangerous goods, and possession or use of firearms and other weapons are all strictly prohibited.
Smoking is prohibited.
Guests should pay attention to comply with social and ethical rules, not to make noise to cause a disturbance, not to listen to very loud music, and not to engage in any activities that are prohibited. Guests are expected to respect the peace of their neighbors at all times. No outdoor, or loud indoor, music is permitted from 14:30 to 17:30 and from 23:00 to 07:00 (Quiet hours: Siesta time and Night time). In the interests of safety, due care should be taken at the Property at all times, especially with children. Suitable supervision should be given around beaches, roads and when using all the Property’s facilities.
Valuables and security
Any Guest valuables or property left or used at the Property are at the Guest’s own risk. Neither the Owner nor the Owner’s Representative accepts any responsibility for loss of or damage to Guest property. The Guest is responsible for the Property during the Rental Period and must ensure that all windows and doors are locked securely when not on the premises. Any act or omission by the Guest, their party, and/or visitors which may negate or prejudice the Property’s insurance policy and/or results in loss or damage is the Guest’s responsibility.
Safety deposit boxes
There is a safety deposit box where you can store your valuables. It is strongly recommended that it will be used to store valuable items such as passports, cash, traveler’s checks, mobile phone, cameras, and jewelry. Any valuables left at the property are the guest’s sole responsibility. Neither the Owner, owners representatives nor the cleaning service can be held responsible for any loss or damage of personal property. The Owner and Owners Representatives may not be held liable for any third-party contractors’ wrongful doing.
Complaints
Every attempt will be made for the Guest to have an enjoyable stay. If the Guest should have a problem during the Rental Period, please inform the Owner or Owner’s Representative immediately who will endeavor to put things right. In order for the Guest’s complaint to be addressed, the Guest must communicate any problem whilst on location. If no complaint is reported during the Rental Period, the Owner will assume that the Property was to the Guest’s satisfaction and no complaint will be entertained.
Provisions
Self-catering accommodations require that the Guest supply all provisions and consumables necessary for daily living.
Cancellation policy
A two days free cancellation period is given. After this period no refund will be available, unless force majeure conditions occur, which will be examined and decided per case.
Personal data protection
This agreement is governed by the Greek Data Protection laws and regulations along with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You also expressly authorize the Owner, to provide your personal data to the respective national data protection authorities for the purposes of compliance of the applicable laws and regulation.
Jurisdiction
This agreement will be governed by the laws of Greece and the Greek Jurisdiction System. In the event of controversy arising from the booking and Property rental that cannot be resolved amicably between the parties, both parties agree to exclusively refer the matter to the Greek Courts.
